Still not racism (Tuesdays At The Castle)

I just finished reading Tuesdays At The Castle by Jessica Day George, which would have been entirely wonderful if the main villain was not a heap of stale cliches about Russians. Even so, it's good enough (and cliches broad enough) that up until the moment when he suddenly said "Da" I was going to grant the author the benefit of the doubt.
That makes another well-written and highly recommended book spoiled by a small unnecessary detail. So it goes.
