Collaborationism

I wonder what the time limit is on collaborationism. I think most people I know would agree that walking in a welcoming parade in Paris in 6/14/1940 would be in bad taste. Sacrificing to Zeus in 166 BCE is probably not as bad. The Ohlone family that rode as parade marshals in today's town parade are entirely lovely people. Can we derive an actual number of years after which it's ok?
